TMBG

... at the 930 Club. No "Mammal" (wah!) but lots of good stuff, old and new.p.s. Opening band Oppenheimer were exceptional. Too bad my spot to the left of the stage didn't lend itself to decent photos, given the setup.
p.p.s. The main show was given brass oomph by locals "Triceratops," who remain elusive on the web (hence, no link as yet). Notably, these guys had not just three but FOUR horns. Woo!
A great time was had by all.

Choices

I think we should go back. But Gary put so much work into the first trip, we should wait until he suggests it. Until then, I will have to learn to cook Japanese food. Wish me luck. ^__^

Invigorating

John Butler Trio remain one of our hands-down favorites. Great music, beautiful playing, a really good vibe. We first saw them in NYC when they launched their first US album, first playing in-store and then at the Bowery Ballroom. They were fantastically good then, and even more so now.
